Five Questions with Andrews head coach Scott Durham

1.What was your number one goal entering fall practice and have you accomplished that?

Our number one goal is always to develop a tough, physical football team.  It’s always a work in progress, but we are getting there.

2. Who was an individual that has stood out to you so far?

Two guys really.  Keshaun Williams (5’11”, 245 lbs.) is a junior FB/LB.  He has played really well so far, and is our main leader, by far.  The other is Kevon Dorsey (6’5”, 215 lbs.).  He is a senior DE.  He’s gotten a lot of attention from Group of 5 schools over the summer.  He’s still raw, but is very athletic and has really worked hard and improved tremendously.

3. What has left you a little concerned so far?

Depth at WR and DB.  We have all newcomers at those positions

4. Where do you think you need to make the most progress?

Offense – Being physical and coming off the ball.  Defense – Alignment and tackling

5. What was one area or position you feel like you’ve solidified so far?

We’re probably deepest at FB and LB
