Calcutt leads Raiders to 30-7 victory over Carvers Bay

Hannah-Pamplico defeated Carvers Bay 30-7 on Friday, improving to 4-3 on the season.

Lane Calcutt led the way for the Raiders, rushing for two touchdowns and passing for one more.

Kenyan Leggett again led the Raiders rushing attack with 70 yards on just seven carriers. Dayon Jackson led the Raiders defense with five and a half tackles and Jalen Jenkins added an interception.

Head Coach Jamie Johnson stated that this was probably the most complete effort by his team this year. “When you don’t turn the ball over and minimize the penalties, you have a pretty good chance of coming out on top,” said Johnson.

The Raiders have a huge region matchup with Mullins at Creek Bridge High School this Friday. HP is now 4-3 on the season and 3-1 in region 7AA.
